Navy Blue is beyond classic. Besides Black, there’s not a color out there more timeless than Navy Blue.
There’s something unique about Navy Blue. It’s dress all in of its self. My issue has been that Navy Blue has been one of those colors that has been hard to find in certain pieces lately. I had a Jones New York double breasted blazer that I had since the early 1990s that my daughter recently found in the attic and was ecstatic over! What I didn’t know was that she said she was looking for something similar like that. It just so happens that I was holding on to my suits for future wears but when she seen it she was like, “Waiiiiiiiiiit a minute!”
Can you believe that? Over 20 years later and that piece resonated with her in such a strong way. I’m telling you more than the design it was colorway that she gravitated to. There’s nothing more elegant than Navy Blue (other than Black). That’s the truth. It’s so universal. It goes with just about everything.
